Goal
The primary goal of this project was to create a seamless remote laboratory access platform.
Objective
Our main focus centered on the platform's functionality, ensuring that every element was interconnected to deliver an exceptional user experience. In addition, we aimed to develop a visually appealing design that moved away from the generic look typically associated with similar platforms.
Result
Through in-depth research and a clear understanding of our client's requirements, we developed a scalable and reliable platform that significantly improved laboratory efficiency by streamlining processes and automating invoice management.

PRECISE DATA ENTRY AUTOMATION
Lab Control is a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) that helps Laboratories with the organization of large chunks of information. Usually, this type of information is organized in spreadsheets which can lead to human error. In this smart scheduling system, information is automatized to minimize the chances of the same error. Therefore, it automatically schedules samples on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. With this kind of planning, there are no more manual inputs, and every process of planning is automatized. If there is a job that needs to be done, Lab workers can just set up a time in which it needs to happen, and they will be notified when the due date is near. Auditing was also an important factor in the creation of Lab Control to keep quality control in check regularly.
STREAMLINE WORKFLOW
The workflow of Lab Control is made in a way to help organize the work itself. For example, the process of sampling lets you do your work step by step so you can focus on the task at hand rather than being distracted by unimportant information at that specific moment. The same principle of design goes for other factors and functionalities because they were thoroughly thought out and developed using psychology, design, and the help of employees of a laboratory for the best possible outcome. This type of work organization was a key factor to keep all laboratory workflow actions in compliance with regulations.
EASILY CUSTOMIZABLE PRICE LISTS COMBINED WITH AUTOMATED INVOICES
Creating a part of the system that contains a fully customizable and multi-practical price list was important to our client, and to us as well. Lab Control’s price list does not just consist of prices and services. Just some of its key features involve offers that can be customized for each client, discounts specific to clients, and fully automatized invoices. Our team also created, what can simply be explained as a price list generator. Laboratories have a lot of complex aspects they have to take into account when it comes to the pricing of their services, and that is why we wanted to make that job as easy as possible. Therefore, prices can be generated by taking into account parameters, numbers of parameters, and elementary units or methods of work and techniques. This data is generated through the already defined general price list and can be fully customized according to the client in question.
