Goal
The main goal of this project was to create a platform that will enable the admin to view and control the process of users, while they lease items for their businesses with ease.
Objective
The main objective parameters which we had to consider were having a fully connected platform with a shop and an innovative app that takes care of their computers and clients.
Result
We built a fully controllable system so their users can easily lease equipment and connect with the company. On the other hand, we created a fully functional and easy-to-use system where the admin can control the website, edit and deliver business plans, contracts and receipts, but also view statistics based on individual products.

By developing a custom software, together with our client, we can build an application that fits our clients needs based on the features that they actually need. AN INFORMATIONAL MASTERPIECE
Kamiks Leasing is a one-of-a-kind platform for leasing equipment. A product that our team had to put a lot of thought and an immense amount of detail into. It has all the essential functions needed to run a successful leasing company in one single space. From the webshop itself which consists of products that can be easily searched, filtered, and added to the cart, to analytics that show all necessary data, therefore helping identify and eliminate repetitive and unnecessary data and activities to make our client's business more efficient and effective. Thanks to that strategy, we created a successful streamlined process. Another aspect we integrated was complete, and transparent informational and analytical understanding in both the admin and user portals. In this way, there is no room for mistakes or misunderstandings by both ends always having access to information like placed tickets, leasing duration, total amount left to pay, orders, leasing contracts, and much more. To complete our platform and make it indeed an all-in-one package, we added a chat feature integrated into the platform so we can accomplish a successful ticketing system.
the caring approach
Most of Kamiks Leasing’s clients are technology-based companies which means that they sit in front of a computer for eight or more hours a day. That motivated us to create a feature alongside the platform to show that Kamiks Leasing does not only care for its equipment, but also for the well-being of its clients. The Well Being App is integrated into the system of equipment that they lease and will provide some basic monitoring of computer components, and if issues happen, users will be able to report them to the staff so they can quickly and easily receive help. This application is also tracking how much screen time our users have and will give out notifications and some exercises based on eye strain, posture, and sitting position, after a certain time.
forward-thinking DEVICE MONITORING
We don’t have to emphasize the fact that leasing companies have to take care of enormous amounts of devices at the same time, the same goes for our client. Taking care of all those devices takes a lot of time, energy, and finances. On the other hand, if that job is done inaccurately, the user experience of our client's users will be dreadful. Those thoughts pushed us to incorporate additional features into the app above that will conduct device data, and instantly send an alert for any errors that may occur within the devices. In this way, Kamiks Leasing’s clients don’t have to worry about crashes, losing data, and other problems that can be prevented by meticulous device monitoring. At the same time, our client will always have optimized data and equipment resulting in a longer device lifespan.
I am incredibly impressed with the IT leasing platform that Layer has developed for our company. The entire process was characterized by exceptional communication, with the Layer team maintaining constant contact and providing regular updates throughout the project. They diligently addressed our requirements, and the final product exceeded our expectations.
