LabControl AI

Layer d.o.o. for business services has successfully implemented the project entitled “LabControl AI”, reference number NPOO.C3.2.R3-I1.05.0378.

The objective of the project is to demonstrate the technical feasibility and market potential of the innovative LabControl AI solution, an advanced laboratory information system that integrates artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced analytics to improve laboratory operations. Through the implementation of the project, LAYER d.o.o. is developing and testing the concept of a new solution that will enable more efficient processing and analysis of laboratory data, a higher level of automation, more precise process management, and the creation of a foundation for the further development and commercialization of the product on the global market.

Objectives and results of the project proposal:

The project focuses on the research, development, and testing of the concept of integrating AI and IoT with existing LIMS systems. Through the implementation of the project, AI algorithms are being developed and optimized, the architecture of the integrated system is being designed, and prototypes are being tested under simulated laboratory conditions. The result of the project will be a successfully proven innovation concept, confirmed technical feasibility of the solution, a prepared basis for commercialization, and the prerequisites for further development of new products for use in healthcare, medicine, and the food industry.
